Chad W. Fauser joined New Mountain in 2018. Mr. Fauser is primarily dedicated to New Mountain Vantage. Prior to New Mountain he was most recently the Co-Founding Partner and Head of Research at Venetus Partners. Venetus pursued a fundamental, event-driven strategy with selective use of activism. Mr. Fauser brings with him 21 years of finance and investment experience. Prior to Venetus, he served as a Partner at Trian Fund Management and was a key member of the investment team from inception in 2005 through 2015. Mr. Fauser played a key role in many of the firm’s activist investments as well as in risk and portfolio management. During his time at Trian, Mr. Fauser was a member of the Investment Committee of Trian Credit Partners and served as Executive Vice President of Trian Acquisition I Corp. Previously, Mr. Fauser was Vice President, Corporate Development of Triarc Companies, Inc. from 2003-2005. Mr. Fauser began his career at Morgan Stanley in the Investment Banking Division, where he held several positions from 1996-2003.
Mr. Fauser earned a B.A. in Economics, Magna Cum Laude, from Duke University.
